1. Agreement

The Sauna Index is published by Worldwide Internet Services US LLC. When you use the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this site is

We publish research and opinion about home saunas: what a maker publishes, what it costs, and how the options compare.

It is journalism, not a professional service. Your reading it creates no relationship between us.

3. This is not medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and we are not medical professionals.

Saunas are widely sold with claims about health. Those are the claims of the makers, and they are not ours.

Where we report such a claim, we report what a seller says, and you can judge it. We do not adopt it, we do not endorse it, and we do not hold it out as fact.

Heat is not risk-free. Speak to a doctor before you use a sauna if you have any health condition or any doubt at all. Follow the instructions for the sauna you own.

Do not use anything you read here in place of qualified medical advice, and do not delay such advice because of it.

4. Affiliate links

Where a link on this site is an affiliate link, we mark it as one. The seller may then pay us a commission if you buy through it. Your price is the same.

No programme accepts us yet. Therefore no link here earns us anything today. Our affiliate disclosure explains how a commission does and does not affect what we recommend.

5. Accuracy

We research carefully and we correct mistakes when we find them. We cannot promise that everything here is complete or current.

Prices, specifications, stock, warranty terms and delivery costs change often, and without notice. The published page of the seller is always the authority. Read it before you buy.

A ranked list is our opinion at a point in time, and a reasonable person can disagree with it.

6. Links to other sites

When you follow a link out, you leave The Sauna Index, and the terms and the privacy policy of that site apply. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for them.

A link to a site is not an endorsement of everything on it.

7. What you buy is between you and the seller

We sell nothing. Every order, every delivery, every warranty and every dispute is between you and the seller.

We are not a party to it, and we cannot resolve it. If a seller treats you badly after we recommended it, we would like to know, because it changes what we recommend next.

8. Using the site

You may read, print, quote and link to our pages. Please do not:

• republish our pages wholesale;
• read the site at a rate that degrades it for other people;
• use our pages to train a model without asking us first;
• hold our work out as someone else’s;
• interfere with how the site runs.

The words, the layout and the name are ours, or used with permission. Product names and logos belong to their owners.

9. No warranty, and the limit of our liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that follows from your use of this site.

That includes a product that disappoints you, a seller that fails you, and any injury or health consequence of sauna use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, where the company is formed, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date above changes when we do, and further use of the site means that you accept the current version.
