What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link carries a code that names this site as the one that sent you. If you buy after you click it, the seller pays us a part of the sale.

You pay the normal price. You are not charged extra, and you do not get a worse price.

Where we are today

This site is new. We state the fact plainly. No programme accepts us yet, and no link on this site earns us a commission today. We applied to programmes, and we plan to earn a commission from them.

From the day the first affiliate link goes live, we mark it as one on the page where it appears. Where a link is not an affiliate link, we do not mark it.

We keep this page current. If you find an affiliate link that we did not mark, tell us and we will fix it.

What a commission does not buy

• No maker can pay us to be included, ranked higher, or described more warmly.
• Nothing here is sponsored, and no maker reads a page before we publish it.
• Commission rates differ. A higher rate does not decide the order of a ranked list.
• We do not remove criticism from a page because the maker pays us a commission.

Why we do it this way

Someone must pay for the work. The other options are advertisements, paid placements, or a charge to the reader.

A commission keeps our interest close to yours: you buy a sauna that you keep and like. It is not a perfect fit, and we would rather you know how it works.
